What to eat after you workout is an important question. This is your most important meal of the day.

After you workout, blood is diverted out of your stomach and so digestion is impaired. It won’t work as fast. The first 2 hours after you work out is a window of opportunity. You want to eat a meal that is easy to digest. If your metabolism is slower wait 60 minutes, then eat whey powder and a banana. if it’s faster, wait 30 minutes.

If you eat a high protein meal, it will just sit there. So best to fill up on nutritious goods.

The post workout meal is the most important so don’t skimp out.
